Parent Advisory Council

 The Mystic Valley Parent Advisory Council and Special Education Advisory Council Representatives are Ann Carroll and Susan Kreis.  

Mission Statement:

The Parent Advisory Council is a group of Mystic Valley Regional Charter School parents. We will discuss parents' ideas and concerns together with administration, then act on them to build upon what's great about our school. We think together. We act together. 

Purpose of the Parent Advisory Council:

We will discuss any ideas and concerns raised by any officer or general member of the PAC and then, when necessary or reasonable, discuss, review and meet with the appropriate personnel within the administration of MVRCS for the purpose of discussing, resolving and mitigating any issue and to present proposed solutions for consideration to the school board or personnel involved.  The PAC shall act as advisory council on special education and any other subjects brought to the PAC. The duties of the PAC shall include but not be limited to: advising the school board on matters that pertain to the education and safety of students both with and without disabilities; meeting regularly with school officials to participate in the planning, development, and evaluation of the school board's special education programs and programs that do not concern special education. 

Meetings

We kindly invite you to attend our monthly meetings which are held in the multipurpose room in the annex building.  Please come and meet other parents and learn more about what MVRCS can offer your child both in and out of school. 

Next Meetings:

The next PAC meeting will be held after classes resume in August. Please plan on attending a PAC or SEPAC Meeting in order to assist Mystic Valley on matters that pertain to education and to assist with planning and development.
